Hot Spring Indulgence at Villa 32

When a Monday evening is spent at one of Asia’s finest hot-spring resorts, well, the world’s most hated weekday turns out to be not so bad after all.

I recently indulged myself with an unforgatable hot spring experience at Villa 32. A member of prestigious Relais & Châteaux hotel group, Villa 32 is an ideal gateway for those seeking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. Located in Beitou, Taipei’s renowned hot spring district, this exclusive haven is set in an intimate and serene environment ensuring its guests sheer relaxation.

I instantly fell in love with the place as soon as I stepped into the Villa’s gorgeous garden. A path of candles led me to the beautiful lobby where I was warmly welcomed by the courteous staff. I took a tour around the Villa while my hot spring bath was being prepared and noticed hints of French details such as Hermès china that create a unique atmosphere of elegance and refinement.

It didn't take long before I was soaking in the natural water of Beitou’s geothermal valley. Villa 32's private hot spring rooms are spacious and offer all the comfort necessary for a truly rejuvanating experience. I particularly enjoyed the Evian mineral water and L’Occitane products, the little French touch that makes all the difference...

For those who might feel hungry after 90 minutes of pure indulgence, Villa 32's famous restaurant is a perfect option (reservations must be made in advance to avoid disappointment!).

With its beautiful setting, outstanding amenities, refined cuisine and fabulous service, Villa 32 undeniably meets all the Relais & Chateaux standards, offering a luxurious introduction to Taipei’s hot springs.
